Simone is a musician and songwriter from Portland, Oregon. She writes & performs in styles branching from deep Blues roots through Soul, R&B and Folk, with electrifying intensity & a big heart. Her current project “Songbook: a Memoir in Music” recalls a decade of the artist’s life with lyrics, sheet music, & intimate insights into her life, process, and the origins of over 50 songs.
