Gretta Seabird is a Portland, OR indie-pop band blending playful guitar, airy vocals, rich harmonies, electronic beats, and a touch of country and folk flair. Drawing comparisons to The Blow and Lucius, their sound is warm, quirky, melodic, and lightly experimental with a rootsy, Americana-inspired sensibility. Lee McDonnell and Jeremiah Brunnhoelzl began the project through a songwriting challenge, trading guitar tracks and writing songs off-the-cuff. Their debut EP,Cycling, captures that spontaneous spirit through intimate songs about connection, love, loss, and the strange beauty of being human.
